In this project that we share with you today, the real protagonist is the oak wood flooring of our brand Medfloor. The architects studio Seña5, has installed the references Zeus and Hera from the Medfloor Old collection in this private home in Cartagena, inspired by a Mediterranean atmosphere that gives a warm and cosy aspect to the space.

The Medfloor Old collection is a collection with a rustic and vintage look, as it is an aged multilayer floorboard with a large presence of knots and contrasting veins with a brushed finish. Its composition gives it great structural stability, as it is formed by three layers of natural wood glued together.

The architects Seña5 have chosen to combine the references MO6160 Oak Zeus and MO6170 Oak Hera in the different rooms of the house. These two references share technical and aesthetic characteristics with a CD oak quality and slats of 1900 x 190 x 14/3. Visually, their appearance is similar with a matt varnish, a similar distribution of knots, micro-bevelled edges but with a slight variation in tone thanks to the different stains applied. In addition, its click joint system makes the installation process and the final result much easier.

This project has allowed us to see that great results can be achieved in homes, giving them a warm and cosy look with Medfloor.
