LUNAWOOD present in the first office building built entirely in wood.

Wittywood is the first office building built entirely of wood (in Spain), at Calle Llacuna, 42, in the heart of the 22@ district of Barcelona. A new project with an author's design, which gives rise to the future of new workspaces, with top quality finishes, the latest innovations in sustainability and technology, totally efficient surfaces, and with great light in all its spaces.

A 4,100 m² building equipped with the latest technologies in one of the most dynamic and projected environments in Barcelona that has been executed exclusively in wood, creating a natural work environment focused on the user's well-being. These aspects allow the building to obtain LEED Platinum and WELL Platinum ratings.

The building features Luna Layer exterior cladding with a brushed surface.

The structure of the building is made of Cross Laminated Wood and Glued Laminated Wood since the objective was to achieve a very low ecological footprint for the building. For the same reason, wood was also used on the exterior. Lunawood Thermowood was chosen for its high dimensional stability and natural durability. Luna Layer, with a brushed surface, gives the building a very fresh and modern look and brings a bit of nature to the urban landscape.

The roof terrace wall surfaces are finished with the Luna Layer panel, which is made of Nordic fir with small round knots.

This work has been designed by the Ballarin & Grinyó architecture studio in Barcelona and installed by the company Gomar Ebanistas.
