The mayor and the first deputy mayor of Polinyà visit the Gabarró facilities

The members of the municipality of Vallesano have been interested in our renovated headquarters and in the activity of our company, a national leader in the distribution of wood.

We received last Tuesday at noon the visit of Mr. Javi Silva, mayor of the Polinyà City Council, and Dª. Tania Bravo, first deputy mayor of the municipality.

The members of the consistory were interested in our large headquarters in the Vallesano municipality and in the activity of the renovated Polinyà facilities, which house more than 120 workers. Mr. Ramon Gabarró, general director of our company, and Xavi Cairó, director of operations, received the representatives of the Polinyà City Council and carried out a joint guided tour of the new facilities, where they were able to see, first-hand, the entire new warehouse, both of wood as prefabricated, as well as the cutting and machining area, offices, and showroom.

Our company has invested €10 million in the expansion of these facilities, which were inaugurated at the beginning of 2021. A new 12,000 m² warehouse was built on the 38,000 m² estate, in addition to the 5,500 m² of the old warehouses. With this new construction, optimum use was made of both storage capacity and internal transport flows. A 5-storey office building, a showroom called Gabarró Parc, and several car parks for staff and visitors were also built.
